• The farm, established in 1830, remained in the Guthrie Family for many years.
• This Wells barn replaced an original barn that burned during an electrical storm in July, 1878.
• Marion Guthrie’s daughters sold the barn and the family homestead to members of the Stein Family during late summer, 2023.
Interesting Details:
• The Guthrie barn was featured in Daniel Fink’s Book entitled Barns of the Genesee Country, 1790-1915.
