Transfer of Ownership:

• In 1865, the Sisters of Charity purchased the property, naming it “Lyman Farm.”
• Vegetables and dairy products were harvested for patients at St. Mary’s Hospital.
• The property was sold in 1940 to Hillard Galen.
• The sisters retained the house and gardens until 1951.
• The Sisters of Charity sold the house to Frank Madtrodonats in 1951.
• James Brown bought the house in the late 1960s / early 1970s.
• Hillard Galen sold his portion of the property in 1976 to the Ranieri Family.
• David Cassidy purchased the property. After David’s passing, ownership of the barn and a 1.7 acre parcel passed to his brother, Daniel Cassidy.

• During the summer of 2023, Bob Boillat worked with Daniel Cassidy to take ownership of the barn.

Present Owner & Present Status:

Daniel Cassidy transferred ownership to Bob Boillat during late summer, 2023.  Bob has plans to renovate the barn and he is proud to create a legacy that he can share with family.
