• From 1923 – 1941, ownership changed hands seven times.
• James Andrews purchased the property in 1941.
• The Howlett Family purchased this property in 2010.
• Sandy Howlett and her daughter Melissa Stanton opened the property to the public as a wedding venue known as The Avon Century Barn in 2013.
• The wedding venue was listed for sale in July, 2022 and was purchased by members of the Mulligan Family.  The Mulligan Family re-listed the venue for sale as of September 20, 2023.

•  Partyman Catering purchased this venue from the Mulligan Family and is in the midst of making this venue its own.

Interesting Details:

• Few farmers had window dormers installed, so these dormers are relatively unique to this Wells barn.

Present Owners & Present Status:

The Howlett Family re-purposed this barn into a one-of-a-kind rustic wedding and event space previously known as The Avon Century Barn, opening it to the public in 2013.  During the summer of 2022, the property was sold to members of the Mulligan Family.  After continuing to run the property as a wedding venue for a little over a year, the Mulligan Family re-listed the property for sale as of September 20, 2023.  Partyman Catering now proudly owns this venue and is in the process of re-imagining it.
